Microsoft has issued an emergency update to fix an IE flaw that attackers are actively exploiting on the Internet.

This flaw allows attackers to remotely execute malicious code when computers use IE to visit a booby-trapped website-Microsoft.

Listed as CVE-2018-8653, this flaw affects all supported versions of Windows, It allowed them to easily take over your PC by executing some malicious code.

Microsoft said the vulnerability is being used in targeted attacks. Neither any other details were available about the vulnerability nor the company elaborates further.

Microsoft further added customers who have Windows Update enabled and have applied the latest security updates, are protected automatically. We encourage customers to turn on automatic Microsoft emergency update.
